Capturing an Epic Portrait Using Auxiliary Lighting Outside
For this epic portrait I used an Apollo Orb to light the subject. In the first image I exposed for the subject, Kory Burrows. In the second image, I then exposed for the background, which made by model completely underexposed. By adding auxiliary lighting using the Apollo Orb in the third image, I was able to expose for both the background and the subject, creating an epic portrait.
Roberto Panciatici has a great example of epic portrait photography using auxiliary lighting that he took in Italy.
