Review of Pictures Taken This Semester
Professional Imaging is the most advanced photography class in the communication department at Brigham Young University-Idaho and it is taught by Caryn Esplin. This class has really stretched me and I have learned a lot about photography, lighting, post production, web presence, SEO and so much more. One of my greatest take aways from this semester however, has been a greater desire to keep taking pictures and making opportunities for myself to take amazing pictures. My classmates have been amazingly supportive and we have even planned extra photo shoots for fun outside of class. That energy and excitement is contagious.
FINE ART
Although I have enjoyed every project we have worked on this semester, I have come to really like fine art photography, partly due to its diversity. Fine art is something that I can really do for myself, and then if other people like it, that is even better.
PORTRAITS
I have really enjoyed getting a lot more creative with my portraits this semester with different lighting, locations, and even costumes. Portraits too can tell a story, even headshots can be creative and tell you something about the person if you plan the picture out with the person and the story in mind.
You’re a great photographer! I love the picture of the bike!
